Home Visits

Any work I do at your home is charged for the first full hour (or part thereof) at £25.

Subsequent time is charged in 15 minute intervals, at the cost of £5 per interval. For example, an hour and a half visit would cost a total of £35.

There is NO call-out charge, and evening or weekend visits are charged at the same rate.

If I have to order any parts or software for you, which are required to carry out a repair or an upgrade, they will be charged at cost. You will be given the original sales receipt / invoice so that you can take advantage of any manufacturers warranty that may apply, should the need to use it arise.

Repairs at my Premises

There are some jobs which are much easier to carry out if I remove your computer to my own premises to work on. For example, a re-installation of the Windows operating system, together with patching/updating it as required, can take a few hours to complete. An Internet connection is also a must in cases such as these.

If I do have to remove your PC for work to be carried out, I will do my utmost to have it returned to you in as short a time as possible. This is typically 2 days after I remove it from your home, although if parts are required to effect a repair then I would obviously have to wait on them being delivered before they could be fitted. In these cases you will be kept fully up to date with how the job is going and when you can expect your PC back.

The charge for any work where this is required is a flat fee of £65, including collection of the faulty computer and delivery & setup once it has been fixed. This price does not include any parts or software that may be required to complete the job.

Web Design

Web Design prices can vary a lot depending on the size of site you require, as well as the resources it will contain. It is therefore impossible to give a list of prices which will encompass all situations.

For a basic site of up to 5 pages, and assuming you can provide any photographs, artwork and at least an idea of the textual content that is required would cost £250. This includes the purchase of a suitable '.co.uk' domain name, and web hosting for a year, with the supplier of my choice.
