Computers, fun and productive as they usually are, can (and very often do) go wrong. Usually this happens just when you need the PC to complete an important task.
On the software side, anything from a virus or spyware intrusion to accidentally deleting an important file can really mess up your system, and a computer that doesn't work properly is frustrating, and really, no use to anyone.
Using diagnostic software to inspect your system, I can quickly and easily resolve most problems such as these quickly and effectively, without causing any data loss. I will also make sure your PC is equipped with safeguards to prevent most reoccurrences of similar problems
Another sad fact of life is hardware failure. Anything from a faulty power supply unit to a bad memory module can cause intermittent problems that will leave you tearing your hair out as you try and track down the cause.
Thankfully, most hardware problems are fairly easy to fix, usually with a replacement part, and in most cases this can be done without any significant loss of your important data or programs.
Most people, rightly, think that a quick call to the computer manufacturers technical support department will help them get their PC up and running again. Usually though, the catch-all answer that they give is to 'use your system recovery disc - that'll fix all your problems'.
Sadly though, they often fail to mention that while the disc will probably sort the problem and get your computer working again, it comes at the cost of all your data and installed applications being lost. Can you really afford for that to happen?
It may be the case that as a last resort you have to go down that road, but there are other ways to solve problems that may be worth exploring first.
So, why not contact me - normally I can give a free diagnosis via email or the telephone, and after that, if you require, I will visit your home and repair the problem.
In some situations, normally if a job is going to take a while to complete or if an internet connection is required (and you don't have one or it is not working properly), it may be a better option for me to remove your PC and repair it at my premises. If this is required, I will collect the computer, repair it and then return it and set it back up for you as quickly as possible.
